The Nutribullet NBR 12-01 Overview
Everyone loves some kind of juice, vegetable shakes or smoothie and the healthy way to achieve this is to blend. Whether before or after breakfast, lunch or dinner, juice or smoothie adds quality or nutrients to your meal. I am a great lover of fresh home made juice, smoothie or vegetable shakes and my Nutribullet blender has never failed me.
This blender is a high power, super speed blender that crushes its content to a fine smooth texture. What I love most about this amazing blender is that it not only blends fruits and vegetables that are soft but also tough ones like carrots, ginger or vegetable stems.
Very Affordable Cost
The Nutribullet is very cheap at slightly less than $50 for all it does. It comes with 3 cups and I always use the biggest size to blend because it takes more content. This will save you a lot of money from buying very expensive blenders when the end result will be the same. I have a regular big size blender which I rarely use because the Nutribullet is more powerful and gives me desired result.
Blends Both Fresh and Dry Food Products
One of the things I love about this blender is that it not only blend fresh fruits and vegetables but also dry foods like flax seeds, almond nuts and chia seeds. Sometimes I blend flax seeds and almond nuts for my almond bread when I don’t get almond flour in the grocery store. I have experimented on different smoothies and vegetables shakes and enjoyed every one of it. Sometimes I combine a cup of parsley, a cup of celery leaves, one whole green apple and 10 pieces of green grapes and 1 to 2 cups of water to enjoy green goodness.
It is Easy to Clean
Another advantage of this blender is that it is very easy to clean. All you need to do when you are done blending is to simply hand wash the blade and cups or put the cups on the top rack of your dish washer. I have an electric orange juicer I rarely use because of the hassle of washing the different parts. It takes a lot of time so I simply opt for my manual orange juicer.
One major downside of this blender I see is that the biggest cup which is 24 oz is still not that big. So if you want to blend a large quantity of food, it will take time as you have to blend in batches.
Here is an amazing healthy green smoothie recipe you can try.
1 Medium sliced banana
1/2 to 1 cup chopped cucumber
Handful washed baby spinach
2 Tablespoons of white rolled oats
2 Teaspoons of chia seeds soaked in 6 teaspoons of water for a few minutes
1 Table spoon of Almond butter
1 Teaspoon of coconut oil
1/2 to 1 cup of water or coconut water
Blend, add ice if you wish and blend again.
As you know, there are several smoothies recipes to try. You can also keep experimenting with your choice of fruits, vegetables, dairy and nuts. It is all up to you. But one thing I know is that Nutribullet will do the job for you.
Fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds are power foods that are loaded with powerful essential nutrients. Another great and healthy way to consume or enjoy them is through blending and taking. While there are so many blenders out there, I choose Nutribullet because of its power, speed and efficiency. If you have any question or review about this product, please share in the comment section.
