Also, there are some concerns that high consumption of soybeans or soy products may lead to suppression of thyroid function in some people and lead to a condition characterized by low production of thyroid hormones called hyperthyroidism.     1. Hi Uchechi, I think every food has to be consumed moderately. Some people worry about taking soy beans because it contains phytoestrogens. However studies do not show that soy beans have negative impacts on the production of testosterone in men.
