2. Find out what Nutrients they based on. A good number of diet programs, mostly consist of protein, fats, vegetables, fiber rich foods and fewer carbohydrates. This is because carb is the major culprit in weight gain. Can you go on such a diet for a long period without falling ill or giving up on it? Because if you start a weight loss program and stop after a short period, the tendency to regain your lost weight is very high because it means you will return to your old eating habits.

People often make the mistake of skipping meals to facilitate weight loss. This is not healthy as you starve your body of essential nutrients and crave more food. 1. I’m about to start a weight loss program and I never knew about honey’s high carb content. Thanks a lot.
I’ll definitely try the detox drinks. Is it best taken in the morning before meal? Or any time of the day? Could it substitute for water because i find it difficult to drink water just like that sometimes?

    1. You are welcome Nadine. The healthy drinks can be taken at anytime of the day because they help to keep you hydrated and contain vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Water is very essential and the most important fluid the body needs. Do not substitute water with any drink. I hope this helps.

  2. Thank you so much. You have been so helpful. So much improvement since you became my coach. Am not yet there but am not where I used to be. I will be sharing my before and after pix very soon. Thanks

  3. I do excersise but my weakness is keeping up with the number of calories in each meal. Any recommendations?.. or can you please do a post on healthy meals and number of calories. Thank you so much

    1. Hi Chika, you are right! It is hard to keep up with number of calories in each meal. To help you do that, you need to get a digital kitchen scale. It is a must have to measure the quantity of food in grams. You can get it from SOUQ KSA and it is very affordable. Then you can visit https://caloriecontrol.org/healthy-weight-tool-kit/food-calorie-calculator/ to check the calories in the grams. Just type the food you want to cook in search and the calories in 100 grams will appear. For instance, 100g of grilled or smoked salmon contains 117 calories. This means 50g will contain 58.5 calories. The calories come from protein, carbohydrates and fat. A gram of carb and protein contain 4 calories each while a gram of fat contains 9. Fried foods contain more calories than cooked, baked or grilled foods. I will work on a post with healthy meals and their calorie content. Thank you, and I hope this helps.
